About the company

It’s an exciting time to be on Amazon’s Shopping Video (ASV) team. Now more than ever, customers watch videos when they shop. Videos make shopping easier and more fun, whether a customer is researching a product or browsing for inspiration. The ASV team’s mission is to enable customers to find inspiration, information, entertainment, and community through videos at any point in their shopping journey. We are passionate about designing, building, and launching scalable, well-designed customer experiences that delight our customers.

Shop-the-Show is the newest initiative on the ASV team. It is Amazon’s AI-powered content-to-commerce second-screen experience that enables customers to shop products inspired by their favorite movies and series without interrupting streaming. As the lead UX Designer for Shop-the-Show, you’ll be at the forefront of revolutionizing how customers interact with shoppable content, owning this experience end-to-end and driving user experience strategy across the entire customer journey from discovery to landing.

This is a dedicated design leadership role. Your days will be filled with crafting experiences that delight and inspire, from initial concept sketches to polished design systems. You’ll partner closely with Product and Engineering, iterating on solutions that push the boundaries of second-screen interactive shopping. We’re looking for a creative force with strong product thinking who can seamlessly blend the worlds of entertainment and commerce through thoughtful, intuitive design.

The ideal candidate doesn’t just push pixels, they think like a product owner. You should be comfortable defining what to build and why, framing problems before solving them, and making strategic trade-offs that balance creative ambition with practical execution. This is more than a design role; it’s an opportunity to shape the future of second-screen shopping and create experiences customers will love.
