STIBO STEP Developer

We are seeking an experienced STIBO STEP Developer to design, develop, configure, and support solutions using the Stibo Systems STEP platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with STEP development, Product Information Management (PIM), Master Data Management (MDM), integrations, business rules, workflows, and STEP APIs. The candidate will work closely with business analysts, data teams, integration teams, and application stakeholders to deliver scalable product and master-data solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and configure solutions within the Stibo Systems STEP platform.
• Design and implement STEP data models, product hierarchies, classifications, attributes, references, and business rules.
• Develop STEP Business Rules, Actions, Conditions, and Workflows.
• Develop custom logic using JavaScript and the STEP Scripting API.
• Design and implement integrations between STEP and external applications/systems.
• Work with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and STEPXML.
• Develop and support inbound and outbound data integrations and Integration Endpoints.
• Configure data validation, enrichment, approvals, workflows, and governance processes.
• Implement product onboarding and product-data syndication solutions.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and data-quality issues.
• Analyze performance and resolve production issues related to STEP configurations and custom development.
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with architects, business users, QA teams, and other development teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.

• 5+ years of IT development experience with strong hands-on experience in Stibo Systems STEP.
• Strong experience with STIBO STEP PIM/MDM.
• Hands-on experience with STEP Business Rules and Workflows.
• Strong JavaScript development experience within the STEP environment.
• Experience with the STEP Public Java API / Scripting API.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and STEPXML.
• Experience developing and troubleshooting STEP integrations.
• Strong understanding of product information and master data concepts.
• Experience with data modeling, hierarchies, classifications, attributes, references, and data validation.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Stibo STEP SaaS environments.
• Experience with Product Data Exchange (PDX).
• Experience with product onboarding and supplier data management.
• Experience integrating STEP with ERP, eCommerce, CRM, DAM, and downstream publishing systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and MDM best practices.
• Experience with retail, manufacturing, consumer products, or distribution domains.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
