Job description
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and collaborative Scrum Master II to drive agile delivery across high-performing software and product engineering teams. In this role, you will facilitate agile ceremonies, coach teams through varying complexities and cultures, remove blockers, and champion continuous improvement to ensure sprint goals and release milestones are met., Agile Facilitation & Scrum Leadership Ceremony Management: Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Flow & Velocity Optimization: Monitor sprint metrics, track velocity, identify delivery bottlenecks, and proactively remove impediments to keep teams unblocked. Scaled Collaboration: Coordinate dependencies across multiple scrum teams, operating effectively within scaled agile frameworks (such as SAFe).
Team Coaching & Agile Maturity Best Practice Coaching: Coach new and existing teams in Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban best practices, helping teams mature their agile mindset and execution. Engineering Alignment: Partner with technical leads to integrate agile ceremonies with engineering best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and continuous testing/integration. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between the delivery team and business stakeholders, protecting team capacity while maintaining transparent communication.
Tooling & Administration Project Tracking: Maintain clean, up-to-date project tracking and metrics utilizing enterprise agile tooling (e.g., JIRA, VersionOne, Azure DevOps/TFS, or Jira Align).
Requirements
This is a hands-on technical facilitation role requiring a deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban) and familiarity with scaled agile environments. You will partner closely with product owners, developers, and QA engineers to foster self-organization, transparency, and engineering excellence (including TDD and CI/CD alignment). If you excel at guiding teams through agile maturity and driving predictable delivery, we want to hear from you., Experience Baseline: Minimum of 4 to 6 years of professional experience working in Agile environments as a dedicated Scrum Master or Agile Coach. Technical Mastery: oDeep, practical knowledge of Scrum roles, artifacts, and ceremonies. oProven experience implementing agile techniques across projects of varying size, complexity, and organizational cultures. oHands-on proficiency with enterprise agile management tools (Jira, VersionOne, TFS, etc.). oWorking experience within product development and engineering teams. Core Competencies: Exceptional servant-leadership, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills; strong communication abilities; ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Preferred Attributes Direct experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. Professional agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM, CSP, PMI-ACP, ICA-ACC, or SAFe Agilist). Exposure to technical engineering practices such as CI/CD pipelines and TDD.
