Job description

As a Software Development Engineering - Sr Advisor I, you will play a critical role in leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide leadership and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv’s business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform advanced coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members.
  • Drive innovation and best practices within the software development team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software development
  • 10+ years of experience in Cobol
  • 8+ years experience with IBM tools, monitoring tools, RMF, DB2 utilities, Platinum Detector, etc
  • 10+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience in the financial services industry

Benefits & conditions

$121,125.00 - $193,800.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

It is unlawful to discriminate against a prospective employee due to the individual’s status as a veteran.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.
