Requirements
Skills: Playwright Automation Test Engineer with Agentic Gen AI/Claude through PoC or implementation is a plus. Responsibilities:
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Test Development: Create, maintain, and execute automated UI and API test scripts using Playwright.
- Experience in Selenium and API test Automation.
- Framework Design: Build or enhance scalable, reusable automation frameworks.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git) for continuous testing.
- Cross-Browser Testing: Validate web application functionality across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.
- Collaboration & Quality: Partner with developers to analyze PRDs, identify gaps, and ensure high test coverage.
- Defect Management: Analyze test results and report bugs using tools like Jira.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Core Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Languages: Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Testing Types: Experience with UI testing, API testing (REST/JSON), and backend validation.
- Tools & Technologies: Knowledge of Docker, cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack/Sauce Labs), and BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
