Job description

  • Component Development: Design, build, and maintain core portfolio components that power our Cyber AI solutions.
  • API Development: Create and support secure, scalable REST and GraphQL APIs for seamless integration across platforms
  • Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented code and actively participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards.
  • Cloud Integration: Integrate software components with cloud infrastructure and security tools, enabling reliable and secure deployments.
  • Framework Enhancement: Contribute to the development and evolution of our Central Cyber Control and Active Cyber Defense frameworks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cloud administrators, automation experts, and security engineers to design, deliver, and maintain advanced solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with new technologies, evaluating and implementing best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.

Technologies You’ll Work With

  • Backend Languages: Python, Java, Go
  • APIs & Integration: REST, GraphQL; API development and integration
  • Cloud & IaC: Google Cloud (BigQuery), Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Kubernetes
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build, Git; automated deployment pipelines
  • Testing & Quality: Familiarity with JUnit, PyTest, and code review best practices
  • Development Methodologies: Agile processes, DevOps culture

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance
  • Must be local to the DMV area and willing to work onsite up to five days a week
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • 3+ years of back-end development to include:
  • Back-end development using Node.js and Python (Django, Flask), including containerized microservices deployed on Google Cloud Run
  • 2+ years of experience with AI Architecture to one of the following include:
  • Modular integration with generative AI models (OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Hugging Face)
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and frameworks, notably TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud to include:
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience with Python

  • CompTIA Security+ Certification For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,300 to $207,800.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
