As a Java Software Engineer in the online retail space you are involved from the start in building top-notch tech systems for the logistics and online retail systems. From designing and coding new applications to testing and rolling out tooling. Together with your talented colleagues from the Software Development Team, you determine where the priorities lie.

This means that you must be able to make decisions independently and function well in a team. You work in an Agile environment with Scrum methodology. The ideal candidate excels in Java and is either knowledgeable in Kotlin or willing to learn it. You are willing to learn Dutch. The candidate thrives on experimentation and generating innovative ideas, either independently or as part of a team. A high degree of autonomy is important to them; they take ownership of their work and have an intuitive understanding of what the logistics sector needs for enhanced efficiency.
