Job description
We are seeking PKI Engineers to support our Solutions Architects in implementing and deploying various Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) projects across multiple partners, including Sectigo and others. This role requires a deep understanding of PKI, IAM, and digital certificates, and will involve working closely with the Solutions Architect to meet our clients’ diverse needs.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with the Solutions Architect to understand and gather customer requirements. This includes gathering requirements from the customer, developing and reviewing system design documents, and participating in technical meetings.
- Assist in deploying and configuring PKI solutions, including Sectigo SCM and other standard services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation or ongoing support.
- Provide technical support to customers, including problem resolution and technical training.
- Document and share knowledge related to PKI solutions and services.
- Manage Windows and Linux based VM servers.
- Implement and support various cloud portal technologies, such as MS Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows support?, * Solid understanding of IAM and digital certificates.
- Experience in security engineering and working with PKI infrastructure.
- Proficiency with databases like MSSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
- Familiarity with networking protocols like TCP/IP and HTTP.
- Experience in cloud-based technologies and working within an Agile/DevOps environment.
- Expertise in cryptography, certificate management, and networking protocols (X.509, OCSP, CRL).
- Strong scripting skills for automation (Python, Shell).
- Knowledge of IT and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FIPS, CSF, CIS, ISO 27001/2).
- Experience with cloud provider security architecture and key control methods.
- Familiarity with OWASP Web/API vulnerabilities and controls.
Bonus points for:
- Database concepts, including relational and no-SQL services.
- Terraform and Ansible deployments.
- DevOps pipeline implementation in common tools.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- AWS and GCP related certifications
- Experience with Microsoft Certificate Authority, certificate management platforms, and HSMs.
