Job description

Field ,POS & Network technicians encouraged to apply - Technicians handle a wide range of installations, repairs,breakfix and upgrades for retail security products, including POS systems, networks, networked devices, access points, routers, switches, RFID smart lock access.. They also set up and troubleshoot connections in various environments, connecting devices with physical cables or wireless frequencies to ensure adequate signal strength for clients., WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.   • Various environments with average noise to high and lighting levels.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Wireless network configuration?, * Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle.

  • Previous IT or Related technical technician experience is required.
  • Technically inclined - experience with Cabling runs/ management/ testing/ terminating, Network provisioning.
  • Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.
  • Smart Phone mobile device.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Frequent use of hand tools.
  • Travel is required in various markets.
  • Lifting 60lbs or more.
  • Able to climb up and down ladders.
  • Testing networks Wi-Fi signals, heat mapping.
  • Installing, troubleshooting access points, routers, switches.

Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior knowledge of various networking technologies.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Aptitude for customer support.

Required Education and Experience

  • Over the age of 18.
  • Certifications are a plus but not required.
  • All training is provided.

  • Travel is required.
