Insight Global seeking a System Integration Engineer to support complex, distributed systems in a fast-paced environment working with government customers and internal/external teams. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related) with 2 years of experience, a Master’s degree preferred with 0 years, or a PhD with relevant experience; must possess a current active DoD-issued Secret security clearance and an active DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CCNA Security, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, etc.) at the time of application (candidate responsible for maintaining certification throughout the contract); demonstrate domain expertise in networking, Linux, and/or Windows; bring 0-2 years of experience as a system integrator or administrator; show strong troubleshooting skills including analysis of application/system logs, network configurations, and interface documentation in widely distributed virtual environments; and be a self-starter with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities who is willing to travel up to 10%., * Bachelor’s degree in STEM (CS, Systems/Network Engineering, Math, Physics, or related) + 2 years experience; or Master’s in STEM-related field + 0 years; or PhD with relevant experience
- Current, active DoD Secret security clearance (required to start)
- Current, active DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ CE, CISSP, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, etc.) at time of application (must maintain throughout contract)
- Domain expertise in one or more of:
Networking, Linux, and/or Windows
0-2 years experience as a system integrator or administrator
- Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to understand hardware/software components in a widely distributed virtual environment
- Ability to conduct complex troubleshooting by analyzing application and system logs, network configurations, and interface documentation
- Self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with government customers and internal/external personnel
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs - Master’s degree in a STEM-related field
- Technical knowledge of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS), including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience creating and managing capabilities, features, and product requirements
