We are looking to recruit a full-time Senior Analyst to join Ampere’s Sports Media Rights vertical. The primary responsibility of this role will be to support the growth of Ampere’s syndicated media

The Opportunity Learn and build on your experience with a team of globally acclaimed experts in the sports, media and entertainment industries across the UK and US Explore and research the rapidly evolving sports media landscape, exploring trends across broadcast rights, streaming, fan engagement, advertising and emerging business models Develop your skills in a data-driven environment, helping to create solutions to solve real-world problems for some of the largest sports and media companies in the world Continue to grow and enhance your skills by working with, and presenting to, key players in the industry, as well as potentially see your research published in global publications Receive a selection of other company benefits such as private medical insurance, company pension, regular team-building activities and early finishes on Friday in the summer Key Responsibilities Help to expand and further develop Ampere’s existing database of media rights deals Maintain and build new models which underpin Ampere’s dataset Create thought-leadership pieces to drive awareness of Ampere’s expertise and data coverage of the sector Produce engaging analytics pieces to support client understanding of trends and developments in the sport industry Engage with sales and marketing to support product marketing initiatives, support client sales conversations Work on custom consulting projects on the media rights sector, alongside wider Ampere teams Skills & Experiences The successful candidate will have: 2-4 years experience in a research, strategy or analysis role in the sports industry. This may have been acquired at a rightsholder, agency, industry analyst house or a consultancy Analytical: An eye for detail and pattern recognition is a key part of the job - understanding and really getting to grips with the nuances that underpin the sports industry Communication: We would like to work with people who can develop the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and simple manner - both in-person and through written briefings Flexible: Enjoy learning and want to improve a wide range of skills - such as data modelling, data analysis, industry knowledge, and other related skills Enthusiasm: We’re looking for a candidate who enjoys research, who has (or could develop) an interest in becoming an expert in the sport sector Technical: comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Basic knowledge of a programming language (Python/SQL) is a plus but not essential #J-18808-Ljbffr
