Job description

We re looking for a Snowflake Architect with hands-on Databricks expertise to design and lead enterprise-scale data platform modernization. You ll own the strategy for migrating/building data lakes to lakehouse architecture using Snowflake + Databricks, ensuring scalability, governance, and cost optimization while enabling analytics + GenAI workloads.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in data engineering/architecture with 5+ years hands-on Snowflake + 3+ years Databricks
  • Expert in Snowflake: architecture, performance tuning, Snowpipe, Snowpark, Time Travel, Zero-copy cloning
  • Strong Databricks: Delta Lake, Spark optimization, Unity Catalog, Jobs, DLT Deep SQL + Python/Scala. DBT experience for transformation layer
  • Cloud expertise: AWS preferred. S3, IAM, Glue, Kinesis integration with Snowflake/Databricks
  • Data modeling: Dimensional, Data Vault 2.0, lakehouse patterns
  • Experience with orchestration: Airflow, Dagster, or Azure Data Factory
