Machine Learning/Staff Engineer

Smadex is seeking a Senior Machine Learning/Staff Engineer to lead architectural decisions and development of deep neural network algorithms. Responsibilities include developing new features, improving pipelines, deploying scalable data analytics and ML solutions, and collaborating with Tech and Ops teams. Candidates must have 5+ years in data science, strong coding skills in Python, Scala, Java, experience with high-performance algorithms, statistical techniques, data mining, predictive modeling, version control (Bitbucket/Git), SQL, and excellent communication skills. Fluency in English and mentoring ability required. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science, experience with data visualization tools, digital marketing platforms, Apache Spark, AWS services, and Linux environments. The role offers a hybrid work model with 2 days remote per week.
