Application Engineer

• Interfacing Reticle inspection Die to Database software development engineering team to provide a customer product diagnosis and possible problem solution of products.
• Providing liaison between customer and applications programmer for customer requests involving change in applications.
• Providing customer technical training including on-site training and generating best known method documents, application notes and other training materials.
• Developing technical presentations and conducting demonstrations on products.
• Assisting sales staff to prepare product specification and negotiating a customer’s took purchase specifications.
• Working together with field service engineers to give customer application support at customer site in timely manner, as well as an installation of products.
• Building and maintaining customer satisfaction through clear and consistent communication and sharing collective knowledge.

Field Service Engineering

• Receives service calls from customers. Determines customer need or problem and responds accordingly.
• May provide over-the-phone consultation and advice to customer, may need to respond to emergency customer situation or may schedule and repair Company’s products at customer site.
• Performs preventative maintenance on Company products.
• Establishes and manages a local maintenance service structure.
• Inspects and evaluates customer usage of Company products.
• Provides training to customers in usage and maintenance of Company products.

Requirements for the Role: * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar

• Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, Linux and other analysis software
• Knowledge of optics and wavelength
• User interfacing
• Previous work experience with semiconductor photomask inspection tools
