Senior Developer (TypeScript + Node.js) - Fintech - 100% Remote At this company, everyone in tech carries the “Tech Generalist” title on purpose: no one is only frontend, only backend, or only data. Every engineer has a specialization but works across the stack. Engineers pick up projects end-to-end and rotate between initiatives rather than staying in silos. We are actively looking for this hire to be an AI Builder - someone who has genuinely adopted AI in their daily engineering workflow and can become an internal reference across the team. What you’ll do - Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end systems (frontend and backend) - supporting customer-facing workflows and internal backoffice operations. - Evolve the architecture for scalability, reliability, and security, making pragmatic tradeoffs between speed and long-term maintainability. - Design and maintain the platform’s core financial systems: payment orchestration, ledger infrastructure, underwriting engines

reconciliation pipelines, and real-time deal tracking. Business-critical with strong guarantees on correctness, traceability, and auditability. - Integrate third-party financial APIs (Taktile, Modern Treasury, Kantox) to automate data ingestion, risk evaluation, and cash movement workflows. - Raise the team’s bar through thoughtful system design, high-quality code reviews, and mentorship - including acting as an internal reference on AI-assisted engineering. Must-have - 5+ years shipping production-scale software - Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js . - Systems thinker: sees patterns across the stack, designs solutions that scale beyond a single use case. - AI-native engineer - actively builds with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar) and can articulate how and why. - Pragmatic and business-impact oriented, balancing quality, speed, and simplicity. - Comfortable in a remote-first, distributed environment with full ownership. - Fluent English (working language of the team). Nice to have - Experience in fintech, credit risk modeling, or high-volume payment processing. - Background as a startup founder or early-stage engineer. - Familiarity with Kubernetes, BigQuery, or Google Cloud Platform.
