Job description
Kforce’s client in San Antonio, TX is seeking an early-career UX Designer (Junior Level) to support key member experiences., The Designer will work alongside Senior and Lead Designers responsible for key member journeys including Join, Onboarding, and Member Recognition & Rewards. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong foundation in human-centered design, visual design, and mobile experience design, with a desire to grow their craft in a highly collaborative environment., * Apply human-centered design methodologies, including the Double Diamond framework, throughout the design process
- Design intuitive and engaging experiences based on user insights
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data analysts, and legal partners to deliver member-centered solutions
- Participate in user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, synthesis, and insights generation
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to inform and validate design decisions
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, pen and paper
- Participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback into iterative design solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, or a closely related field
- Entry level candidates with up to 2 to 4 years of UX design experience
- Demonstrated understanding of human-centered design principles and methodologies
- Good visual design skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
- Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and visual design capabilities. Academic projects are acceptable
Preferred:
- Experience designing for Native Apps or Progressive Web Applications (PWAs)
- Experience with graphic design, motion design
- Interest in emerging technologies and integrating AI into product experiences and design workflows
Ideal candidates should have approximately 2-4 years of professional experience with a degree in UX Design, or a related field. Strong consideration should be given to candidates who are well articulated, curious, collaborative, eager to learn and excited to hit the ground running and make stuff. They should feel comfortable operating in a vocal, dynamic team where brainstorming and critique sessions happen daily.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
