Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to develop LabVIEW, TestStand, and Python-based automated test solutions. • Develop drivers and interfaces for instrumentation (NI PXI, cDAQ, GPIB, Ethernet, CAN, Modbus, Serial, etc.).
• Create automated production, validation, and engineering test sequences.
• Design reusable software architectures and test frameworks.
• Integrate measurement equipment, DAQs, power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, and environmental chambers.
• Develop automated data collection, reporting, and traceability systems.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing automated test stations.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and manufacturing engineers to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Support calibration and maintenance of automated test equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong software development skills, hands-on experience with test instrumentation, and a proven ability to deliver reliable automated test solutions., + Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency with LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Working knowledge of Python and experience with automated instrumentation.
• Experience with NI PXI/cDAQ and measurement systems.
• Familiarity with SQL/databases and Git.
• Hardware debugging skills and understanding of production test environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams., + Experience developing drivers for GPIB, Ethernet, CAN, Modbus, and serial interfaces.
• Experience building reusable test frameworks and automated reporting systems.
• Knowledge of power electronics test applications.
