IT Deployment Technician

A client is seeking an IT Deployment Technician for a contract role based in Louisville, KY. This employee will join a team who is overseeing a deployment project where they are upgrading network equipment in different locations. The client is needing this role to oversee the rollout and help coordinate with the internal POCs and external vendors to ensure the site is successfully updated. On a daily basis this individual will coordinate between both groups to schedule the appointments and communicate updates via email/chat and some occasional phone calls. Having a technical background would be helpful in this position to understand issues as they arise with the deployment so they could triage the problem and identify solutions. Strong project coordination, communication and prioritization skills are required to be successful in this position.

Previous project deployment or rollout experience Technical understanding of network devices (routers, switches) Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams) Strong communication and written skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Any project coordination experience Experience with Power BI and Smartsheet Familiarity with automation tools, AI technologies, or process improvement initiatives. Experience coordinating activities across multiple teams, vendors, or business functions
