Senior Software Engineer

The Company is seeking a Software Developer / Quality Assurance Professional responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, documenting, and supporting software solutions that meet business and technical requirements. This role works closely with business and development teams to ensure software quality, functionality, and testability while contributing to project execution, defect resolution, and continuous process improvement. The position requires strong analytical skills, software development knowledge, testing expertise, and the ability to support multiple projects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, and document software applications in accordance with established quality standards, policies, and procedures.
• Analyze business requirements and develop software solutions that address organizational needs.
• Prepare and maintain technical design documentation for software applications and enhancements.
• Evaluate and recommend software and hardware solutions to support user and business requirements.
• Resolve customer issues related to software functionality and provide recommendations for product improvements and enhancements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to clarify requirements and ensure solutions are testable and aligned with project objectives.
• Prepare and maintain test data for unit, integration, string, and parallel testing activities.
• Draft, revise, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Execute testing procedures in accordance with software requirements and application documentation.
• Perform software validation activities to ensure applications meet functional and quality expectations.
• Log, track, and document software defects and provide recommendations for corrective action.
• Retest software corrections and enhancements to verify successful resolution of identified issues.
• Document testing methodologies, procedures, and results to support future replication and process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct performance and scalability testing when required.
• Analyze and communicate testing results, risks, and recommendations to project stakeholders.
• Perform preliminary root cause analysis for identified application defects and system issues.
• Support end-to-end testing processes and validate complete system workflows.
• Participate in project implementation activities and support successful solution deployment.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance software quality, efficiency, and reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience., * Experience in software development, software testing, or quality assurance environments.
• Experience working with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience participating in application development and testing projects., * Knowledge of software design, development, testing, debugging, and documentation practices.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation and design specifications.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and system testing.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Ability to identify, document, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
• Knowledge of defect management and issue-tracking processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience executing tests according to software and application requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business users, developers, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to document and communicate testing procedures, results, and recommendations.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $58.00 - $60.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
