Job description
We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications and services using Go. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with microservices, distributed systems, APIs, cloud technologies, databases, and containerized environments., * Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Golang (Go).
- Build and consume RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and microservices.
- Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance distributed systems.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Optimize application performance, memory utilization, and concurrency.
- Leverage Go goroutines, channels, and concurrency patterns effectively.
- Implement security, authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
- Develop efficient data access layers and optimize database queries.
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
- Work with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Monitor application performance, system health, and service reliability.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Golang (Go).
- Strong experience with REST APIs, gRPC, and Microservices Architecture.
- Deep understanding of concurrency, goroutines, channels, and Go programming patterns.
- Experience developing distributed and high-performance backend systems.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with containerized applications and cloud-native development.
- Strong database experience with both SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and modern software development practices.
- Experience troubleshooting and optimizing production applications.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
- Experience with messaging systems and asynchronous processing.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as:
- Prometheus
- Grafana
- ELK Stack
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
