Job description
- Ensure software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
- Write code and unit tests and integrate solutions with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces.
- Contribute to story refinement and definition of requirements.
- Estimate effort across the delivery lifecycle and guide the team on sizing.
- Perform spikes and proofs of concept to mitigate risk and validate approaches.
- Develop code to acceptance criteria and compliance standards.
- Design and build solutions using multiple architectural components across data, application, and business layers.
- Assist in resolving technical complexities for in-scope stories.
- Contribute to integration, regression, and performance test suites and triage test issues.
- Document and communicate deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality details.
- Participate in and coach team members through CI/CD events, including branching, pull requests, triage, conflict resolution, and release notes.
Requirements
We are seeking an Application Programmer III with deep Spring Boot and core Java expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in middleware service development, SOAP/REST web services, and CI/CD and a proven ability to deliver robust, compliant, and well-tested service integrations that meet business goals., * Strong proficiency in Spring Boot for service integration solutions.
- 8+ years of experience in middleware service development.
- Core Java expertise and solid understanding of design patterns and design thinking.
- Familiarity with SOAP and REST web services and related technologies such as JAX-WS, JAX-RS, and XML.
- Experience designing and developing web services as a service provider.
- Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to build effective partnerships quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results under deadlines.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and openness to learning new technologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira and Jenkins.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and release management.
