• Lead an internal team towards the development of AI products
• Work in a multidisciplinary team on client projects as a Machine Learning Engineering expert
• Make architectural and design decisions for cloud environments
• Build production-level ML/AI solutions with solid software engineering
• Guide Data Scientists in scaling models into production through parallelizing, optimizing, tuning, testing, and wrapping
• Give trainings, lead internal meetings, and organize external events
• Participate in team meetings and workshops with clients
• Write blog articles, present at conferences, and send out press releases on the subject led

• MSc-level education in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems, or a related field
• 2-4 Years of experience building production-quality ML/Deep Learning pipelines and models
• Good understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals and strong knowledge in a specific domain such as Computer Vision, Deep Learning, or NLP
• Expert coding skills in Python and at least one of Scala, C++, or Java
• Hands-on experience with database management languages such as SQL and PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructures such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Hands-on experience with Unix-based command line and DevOps tools, including Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or DatabricksStrong interest in data and AI-related topics and the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas
• Excellent project management and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn complex issues into simple, impactful business solutions
• Ability to apply Data Science and Engineering solutions to business problems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to adapt rapidly and work across different business areas
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience coaching or mentoring other engineers
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Fluency in spoken and written Dutch
• Willingness to travel and work with local and international clients
