ROLE: Senior AI EngineerLOCATION: Barcelona, SpainSALARY: NegotiableDURATION: PermanentAn exciting opportunity for an experienced AI Engineer to develop and deploy AI applications and models for advanced AI acceleration platforms.The role focuses on AI frameworks, model performance optimisation, and enabling efficient deployment across multicore hardware architectures.Responsibilities:Develop and deploy AI-based applications and models.Analyse AI model performance and optimise workloads for multicore architectures.Work with leading AI frameworks and deployment technologies.Support model optimisation, accuracy tracking, and hardware-aware performance tuning.Collaborate with software and hardware teams to improve AI application performance.Develop tools and frameworks that enable efficient AI deployment.Contribute to profiling, optimisation, and software architecture improvements.Requirements:8+ years of experience in AI engineering, application development, or model deployment.Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Strong experience developing and deploying AI-based applications.Solid knowledge of AI model performance analysis and multicore techniques.Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.C1-level English.Desirable Experience:ONNX Runtime, CUDA/ROCm, TensorRT.AI compilers such as OpenXLA, TVM, or IREE.AI deployment frameworks including vLLM, SGLang, Triton, or DeepSpeed.C/C++ and Python interoperability.Software profiling and architecture-based optimisation.CI/CD, assembly, and bare-metal programming.Experience with model accuracy tracking.
