Job description

Join a dynamic enterprise environment as a Senior DevOps Engineer focused on automation, CI/CD, and middleware support. This role is a great opportunity to help streamline deployments, strengthen release processes, and support critical application platforms in a collaborative setting. Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflows.
Create and improve automation frameworks and reusable workflows to increase deployment efficiency.
Develop and maintain scripts for operational automation and deployment support using Shell/Bash, YAML, Python, or PowerShell.
Support and administer middleware environments, including WebLogic 12c/14c and JBoss 7.4/8.1.
Automate application deployments, patching, and environment provisioning across middleware platforms.
Investigate and resolve build, deployment, and infrastructure issues in enterprise environments.
Partner with development and QA teams to support smooth integration, release, and delivery processes.
Follow security, compliance, and DevOps best practices in day-to-day work.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and automation.
Strong experience with GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in YAML scripting and workflow design.
Strong scripting ability with Shell/Bash and YAML.
Experience with Python or PowerShell for automation.
Background supporting middleware platforms such as WebLogic 12c/14c.
Experience troubleshooting pipeline failures and deployment issues.
Solid understanding of CI/CD, release management, and automation practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Skills

Experience with JBoss 7.4/8.1.
Exposure to Azure cloud services, including AKS, App Services, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
Comfort working in multi-environment enterprise settings.
