The Solution Architect II serves as an onshore technical and business solution liaison between US stakeholders and global execution teams. This role is responsible for understanding business goals, operational workflows, regulatory and customer expectations, data needs, reporting requirements, and integration challenges, then translating those needs into clear technical blueprints, ETL strategies, data mappings, data models, source-to-target specifications, and implementation-ready solution designs.

The Solution Architect II can quickly learn and make use of existing solutions as well as research and implement new technologies based on identified areas for improvement. They have an in-depth understanding of the services provided and direction of business and can develop relationships throughout the organization to assist in accomplishing its goals for the company.

The Solution Architect II main function is to provide consulting-level technical leadership and business solution expertise during the discovery, design, development, implementation, support, and maintenance of business-critical data solutions and internally developed applications. This role will help business by providing real-time, onshore engagement during core business hours while ensuring offshore execution teams receive complete, accurate, and technically sound specifications for delivery.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner directly with Business Leaders, Product Management, department leaders, and ITG partners during core business hours to understand business goals, operational workflows, data needs, reporting requirements, integration needs, customer pain points, and technical challenges.

Lead business and technical discovery sessions to clarify business problems, define current-state and future-state workflows, document data flows, identify integration needs, and determine appropriate ETL, reporting, database, and cloud-based solution approaches.

Translate complex and sometimes ambiguous business requirements into actionable technical specifications, ETL strategies, data mappings, data models, source-to-target documentation, process flows, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready design artifacts.

Serve as the primary onshore technical liaison between US business stakeholders and GLOBAL execution teams, ensuring business intent, data rules, workflow context, technical requirements, and solution designs are accurately communicated and preserved through delivery.

Create ready-to-build technical blueprints and handoff documentation for offshore engineering teams to reduce ambiguity, minimize rework, avoid time-zone delays, and accelerate delivery velocity.

Design and support data, reporting, automation, and integration solutions that reduce manual processes, improve organizational efficiency, increase data availability, improve data accuracy, and support Parallon HIM operational goals.

Design, develop, test, review, and support ETL processes, data extracts, integrations, database objects, reporting datasets, scripts, and automation processes using appropriate technologies and tools.

Write and review SQL, stored procedures, scripts, data transformation logic, data validation logic, and reconciliation processes to support operational, reporting, and integration needs.

Evaluate business requests and recommend scalable, supportable, secure, and efficient data, reporting, workflow, and integration solutions aligned with enterprise standards and Parallon HIM business priorities.

Lead solution design discussions with business and technical partners to ensure requirements are clear, complete, achievable, technically sound, and aligned to organizational goals.

Serve as an onshore escalation point for business logic, legacy system knowledge, Parallon HIM workflow interpretation, data interpretation, ETL design, data mapping, and production support needs.

Support root-cause analysis and resolution of data pipeline, integration, reporting, workflow, and production support issues impacting Parallon HIM stakeholders.

Ensure effective documentation of business requirements, technical designs, data mappings, source-to-target specifications, data dictionaries, process flows, support runbooks, and operational procedures.

Partner with Product Management to ensure technical delivery aligns with business priorities, product roadmaps, stakeholder commitments, customer expectations, and operational outcomes.

Research, investigate, and recommend new technologies, tools, and approaches that improve data solution delivery, operational efficiency, technical quality, data accuracy, and customer experience.

Mentor team members, support offshore execution teams, and provide technical guidance on complex data, integration, reporting, business workflow, and ETL solution delivery.
