Full Stack Software Engineer _ English

At Hays, we are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with solid experience across both frontend and backend development with strong experience with Python, Angular,AWS, and OpenShift/Kubernetes , including CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance to support the development projects for a leading global pharmaceutical company.What you will do Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications.Contribute to the definition of software architectures and development best practices.Develop and implement solutions across both frontend and backend environments.Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, QA, and Operations teams.Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and automation practices.Support the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and technical standards.Participate in the integration of services and the evolution of scalable architectures.What we are looking for 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with strong focus in backend development.Strong experience with Python, Angular, AWS, and OpenShift/Kubernetes , including CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.Knowledge of REST APIs , GraphQL , service integrations , and microservices architectures .Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases .Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure , AWS , or GCP .Familiarity with DevOps practices , CI/CD pipelines , and Git version control .Ability to work effectively within Agile environments and cross-functional teams.Fluent/Advanced level of English to collaborate within international environments.Nice to Have Experience participating in large-scale digital transformation projects .Knowledge of application security , observability , and performance optimization .Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring other developers.What We Offer Permanent contract through Hays.Flexible remote working model, with one day per week on-site at the office in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona area).Competitive salary package.Work on a high?impact internal platform used by global teams Join a stable, innovation?driven pharmaceutical environment with a long?term mindset Opportunity to contribute to automation and future AI initiatives in a regulated, meaningful industry If you are interested in working in an international environment, we would love to hear from you.
