Job description

As a Technical Program Manager on the Electronic Systems Team,you’lldrive hardware development for Tesla’sDisplays-the dynamic interfaces that power human-machine interaction, bringing real-life AI to vivid life and revolutionizing connections with intelligent systems. Your mission: Deliver program success through precise planning, execution, and communication, while enabling seamless cross-functional collaboration in our fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure engineering program goals, scope, and requirements are clearly defined, documented, and alignedwithstakeholders
  • Build program roadmaps and detailed timelines outlining milestones, critical paths, and deliverables
  • Leadand synchronizecross-functional teams to ensuretimelyprogram delivery through effective coordination, spanninghardware engineering, supply chain,manufacturing, firmware, andtesttoward unified programobjectives
  • Ensure team efforts align with project goals,optimizingproductivity by steering teams away fromnon-critical activities
  • Track engineering sample demand and supply, coordinating with supply chainteamsto meetprogram milestones
  • Proactivelyidentify,trackand resolve program risks with structured mitigation and contingencyplans tominimize impact on program timelines and deliverables
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are understood and managed
  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates on program status, including key metrics, wins, challenges, and escalations
  • Continuously refine project management methodologies and implement process improvements for cross-functional teamsto enhance efficiencyand program outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience with demonstrated exceptional abilities
  • 3+ years of experience in product development,ideallywithexperienceshipping productsin medium-to-high volume industries
  • 3+ years of experience in program management withinanengineering or technical environment
  • Proven ability to rapidly grasp complex technical concepts
  • Strong attention to detail, coupled with excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • 5+ years of experience in program management within an engineering or technical industry,leading cross-functional teams in the design, development, and delivery ofcomplextechnicalproducts preferred
  • Proven experiencein leading system-level product development,overseeing end-to-endproduct development ofcomplexhardwaresystems preferred
  • Hands-on design engineering experience indisplay productsor electromechanical product design is highly valued preferred
