Data Engineer

We’re seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines that power analytical capabilities. This hands-on role requires an understanding of data engineering best practices and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

You will be part of a dedicated team creating datasets for analytic and data science workloads. You will work with other Data Engineers and Sr. Data Engineers on designing, implementing, and testing data pipelines.

• 2+ years of applicable work experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in developing complex queries
• Experience deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment (any of Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience with Python, specifically with ETL pipelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with data scientists and analysts., * Experience working with healthcare data, especially Epic.
• Experience using GCP’s BigQuery
• Knowledge of data governance best practices in a cloud environment
• Experience using and enabling AI for data analysis
• Experience with Experience working with Machine Learning processes., * Bachelor’s degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification or equivalent work experience.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
