Location: RemoteContract type: Indefinido (permanent)- Full-timeLanguage requirements: Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken)About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure that powers our applications and services.You will work closely with our development, QA, and IT teams to automate and streamline operations, monitor system performance, and ensure the reliability of our deployments.This is a great opportunity for a hands on engineer who wants to own cloud infrastructure end to end and help scale a growing platform.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure ManagementDesign, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Implement and maintain scalable container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.CI/CD PipelineDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment through GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Run.Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features into the CI/CD process.Monitoring and LoggingSet up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and New Relic.Ensure system reliability, performance, and availability through proactive monitoring and incident response.Database ManagementAdminister and optimize MongoDB instances, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for MongoDB and other databases.Security and ComplianceImplement security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and data.Ensure compliance with industry standards, internal policies, and applicable EU/Spanish data protection regulations (GDPR).Automation and ScriptingAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and system operations using GCP services.Develop custom scripts to enhance automation and operational efficiency.Collaboration and SupportWork closely with development and QA teams to support the software development lifecycle.Provide technical guidance and support to resolve infrastructure related issues.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).Experience5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.Strong experience with Docker, including container orchestration using Kubernetes.Hands on experience with GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, and GKE.Experience with Elasticsearch for monitoring, logging, and search.Proficiency administering and optimizing MongoDB databases.SkillsStrong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or a similar language.Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams, including with distributed and international colleagues.Right to work in Spain (or eligibility to obtain the relevant work authorization).Nice to HaveExperience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Certifications in Docker, GCP, or related technologies.Equal OpportunityQureos is an equal opportunity employer.We welcome applications from all qualified candidates regardless of gender, age, disability, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected under Spanish and EU law.
