Responsible for analysis, design, programming, and implementation of the most complex applications tasks and projects in the area. The day often starts with reviewing code merges and CI/CD pipeline activity using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ensuring that builds and deployments are running smoothly. The developer actively builds and integrates cloud-based solutions using AWS, leveraging services like compute, storage, and serverless functions. They may spend part of the day writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM templates to provision and manage cloud infrastructure in a repeatable and scalable way. Throughout the day, they collaborate with cross-functional teams to design APIs, review architecture, and evaluate modern technologies for future integration. They also play a key role in mentoring junior developers, enforcing coding standards, and ensuring security best practices are followed across all cloud development activities. In addition, they provide expertise regarding the integration of cloud applications, lead the planning, design, and implementation of cloud system software-including coding and testing-and act as an internal consultant, offering technical guidance on complex cloud projects.
