Acid Tango is a digital product studio.We transform our clients’ ideas into digital products, with a focus on digital innovation and bringing disruptive ideas to life.In every project, we search for the perfect harmony between simplicity, aesthetics, and technology.We’re currently looking for aSenior DevOps / Cloud Engineerto join our team.We’re looking for someone with a strong cloud and infrastructure background who is also comfortable working withobservability, application instrumentation and operational data.You’ll help us design, automate and evolve cloud platforms while improving how our systems are monitored, measured and understood.You’ll work across infrastructure, CI/CD, observability and reliability, collaborating closely with software engineers and product teams in complex cloud environments.What you’ll doDesign, build and evolvecloud infrastructure and platform solutions, primarily on AWS.Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration usingInfrastructure as Code.Design and maintainCI/CD pipelinesand deployment strategies.Work with containerized environments usingDocker and Kubernetes.Implement and evolve observability solutions usingDatadog, CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry.Instrument applications to collect technical, operational and business metrics.Work withAPM, Custom Metrics, Distributed Tracing, logs and dashboardsto provide visibility into distributed systems.Define and implementKPIs, SLIs and SLOstogether with engineering and business stakeholders.Design structured logging and metrics collection strategies.Analyze logs, traces and metrics to identify reliability, performance and scalability improvements.Collaborate with software engineers to improve instrumentation acrossPython, Java and TypeScriptservices.Build lightweight data pipelines or ETL processes for operational and observability data when required.Help define and promote best practices aroundcloud architecture, automation, reliability, security and observability.Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, infrastructure and distributed services.What we’re looking for4+ years of experience as aDevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE or similar role.Strong hands-on experience withAWSand cloud-native architectures.Experience withInfrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.Solid knowledge ofDocker and Kubernetes.Experience designing and maintainingCI/CD pipelines.Strong Linux and Git knowledge.Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring platforms such asDatadog.Experience withAPM, Custom Metrics, Dashboards, logging and Distributed Tracing.Understanding ofOpenTelemetryand modern application instrumentation.Experience defining or working withSLIs, SLOs and operational KPIs.Scripting or development experience withPython.Good understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures.Ability to troubleshoot systems across infrastructure, networking and application layers.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Nice to haveExperience withDatadog SDKand advanced application instrumentation.Experience withAWS CloudWatchand its integration with Datadog.Familiarity withJava and/or TypeScript.Experience withSQLand working with operational data.Experience buildingETL or data pipelines.Experience withPower BIor similar visualization tools.Knowledge of traffic management and communication between distributed services.Experience working withHelmor other Kubernetes tooling.Experience with cloud security, IAM, networking and infrastructure governance.Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into measurable technical or operational KPIs.What we offerCompetitive salary based on experience.Senior **K), Architect **K), Tech Lead **K).Performance-based bonus of up to 12% of your salary.€1,000/year education budget to keep growing.Flexible working hours and the option to work from home.€300 to improve your home setup.Challenging projects with a focus on innovation.A dynamic, diverse team that wants to leave a mark.International clients with thousands of users.If you’re comfortable moving betweencloud infrastructure, automation, observability and operational data, we’d love to talk.;-

4+ years of experience as aDevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE or similar role. Strong hands-on experience withAWSand cloud-native architectures.
