Job description
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the business, transforming data into actionable insights, improving data reliability and driving analytical initiatives that create measurable impact. While exposure to Machine Learning is valued, the current focus of the role is on analytics, data quality and stakeholder-oriented problem solving rather than developing advanced ML solutions. Responsibilities Analyze business data to identify trends, opportunities and actionable insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions. Develop and optimize data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark and SQL. Define, monitor and improve data quality rules and validation processes. Investigate data issues, perform root cause analysis and work with upstream teams to improve data reliability. Support data-driven decision making through reporting, analytics and business recommendations. Contribute to Machine Learning and statistical modelling
Requirements
initiatives when required. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics or related roles. Strong knowledge of Python and SQL. Experience with Databricks and data processing environments. Experience working with large and complex datasets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership. Nice-to-have Experience in Data Quality, data governance or data validation frameworks. Knowledge of PySpark and Delta Lake. Experience with traditional Machine Learning models (regression, classification, forecasting, clustering). Familiarity with ML lifecycle tools such as MLflow. Knowledge of data visualization tools.
