Job description
To support our continued digital growth, we are looking for a Digital Solutions Developer (.Net) on a consultancy basis to help build customer-focused applications, integrations and digital solutions used worldwide. What challenges do we have in store for you? In this role, you’ll contribute ideas on how applications are used, translate requirements into solutions and help build digital products that have a global impact. Customer Portal Our customer portal is a strategic digital platform that enables customers worldwide to manage their orders, artwork and product information. You will play an active role in shaping the future vision and development of this platform. Your responsibilities will include:
Carry out analyses of customer needs and translate these into functional requirements Devise and design new functionality using mock-ups Contribute ideas and help develop user-friendly solutions Develop and maintain new functionality in .NET (C#) Developing new APIs
Internal IT projects In addition to the customer portal, you will also contribute to a variety of projects aimed at improving operations within our organisation. You will work alongside an international team to analyse business processes and devise new solutions to achieve greater efficiency within our processes. You will do this by:
Analysing and understanding business processes Using SQL to analyse data and data structures, with a focus on data modelling and technical opportunities for improvement within the processes Developing concrete proposals for improvement and helping to implement them Contributing to solutions that increase operational efficiency Identifying technical links between applications, data sources and processes Contributing to a more customer-focused and future-oriented IT environment
Requirements
We are looking for an analytical person who is keen to learn and enjoys devising solutions to help our colleagues and the company move forward. You like to take the initiative but also enjoy working as part of a team to learn from others, and you communicate fluently in English. With a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, you also have a strong knowledge of:
C# / .NET ASP.NET Core / Blazor REST API development Azure DevOps / Git / CI-CD pipelines SQL Server Azure Stack (Storage, Service Bus, API Gateway, Functions, Logic Apps, etc.) complex integrations (web services, file shares, SQL, (S)FTP, message queues, etc.) React / Angular
