Back-end Developer

Role purpose: Design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs that support reliable product functionality, performance, and security. Core responsibilities - Develop and maintain back-end services, RESTful APIs, and integrations with internal and external systems. - Design and optimize data models, queries, and storage solutions to ensure performance and reliability. - Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling practices. - Collaborate with front-end, product, and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end. - Write clean, testable code; create unit/integration tests and support CI/CD pipelines. - Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues; improve observability through logging and metrics. - Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and documentation. Required skills - Proficiency in one or more back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python, .NET, Go). - Strong knowledge of API design, HTTP, and

service-to-service communication. - Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, indexing, and query optimization. - Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and deployment workflows. - Understanding of security best practices, data privacy, and secure coding. - Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and communicate technical decisions clearly.
