QA Tester - Temenos 24 - vitoria gasteiz

• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for Temenos T24 across functional, integration, regression, smoke, and UAT phases.
• Validate E2E banking processes and ensure the correct functioning of core banking modules (accounts, payments, loans, deposits, limits, etc.).
• Define and implement test plans and strategies , aligned with project objectives and timelines.
• Manage the defect lifecycle : identification, documentation, prioritization, follow-up, and validation of fixes, including regression testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman/SoapUI and validate interfaces between T24 and external systems .
• Use SQL and log analysis to validate data consistency, investigate incidents, and support root cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with business, development, DevOps and functional teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Contribute to SIT, UAT and production smoke tests , supporting go-live and post-go-live activities.
• Prepare and maintain quality metrics and reports (KPIs, defect leakage, test coverage) to monitor and improve testing effectiveness.
• Act as a reference QA expert in Temenos T24 , providing guidance and mentoring junior testers .
• Work within Agile and Waterfall frameworks, actively participating in ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes.

• +5 years of experience in manual testing of banking applications (automation nice to have).
• Solid functional and technical experience in Temenos T24 (Transact) .
• Strong background in design, execution, and maintenance of test cases : functional, integration, regression, smoke, and UAT.
• Experience validating End-to-End (E2E) banking processes and interfaces between T24 and external systems . Experience in Temenos T24 implementation, migration or upgrade projects.
• Proven ability to define and execute test plans and strategies and manage the defect lifecycle end-to-end.
• Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Good knowledge of SQL for data validation in databases and log analysis for incident identification.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall .
• Functional knowledge in T24 modules such as: Customer Management, Account Management
• Funds Transfer, Payments, Teller Deposits, Loans, Limits, AA (Arrangement Architecture)
• Version, Enquiry and Browser, COB (Close of Business) processes
• Hands-on experience with tools such as: Jira, Confluence, HP ALM / Quality Center, Azure DevOps
• Postman, SoapUI
• SQL Developer / DBeaver / Oracle SQL
• Advanced Excel for tracking and reporting
• Strong understanding of banking processes : Core Banking, national and international payments
• Current and savings accounts, credits/loans
• Clients & KYC, limits management, financial operations
• Participation in SIT, UAT and production smoke testing
• Experience preparing quality metrics and reports (KPIs, defect leakage, test coverage)
• English and Spanish fluency.
