Java Developer

Our client is actively seeking 2 Java Software Engineers to join their growing discovery engineering team based in Osterley, West London.

• Strong experience in Java and Spring, with hands-on expertise in technologies such as AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, and Jenkins.
• Broad understanding of complementary technologies, with the ability to design scalable and effective software solutions.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within your own team and across multiple teams in a cross-functional environment.
• Demonstrable experience designing, developing, and successfully deploying web applications, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures, including asynchronous messaging using Kafka.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks, including consideration of both functional and non-functional testing requirements.
• Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and scripting languages such as Bash.
• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a strong desire to continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
