Job description
As a SAP BW specialist, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, develop, and optimise data warehouse solutions, ensuring the business has access to accurate, reliable, and actionable insights., * Design, build and support SAP BW data warehouse solutions.
- Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, queries and reporting structures.
- Ensure data quality, integrity and governance standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data warehouse and reporting issues.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver new reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Support system enhancements, testing, deployments and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations to optimise data management and reporting processes.
Requirements
You’ll bring strong technical expertise alongside excellent stakeholder management skills and a passion for data-driven decision making.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working with SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience with data modelling, ETL development and reporting solutions.
- Ability to gather and document business requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience working within large, complex business environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions.
Desirable
- Experience with SAP analytics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of SAP data integration technologies.
- Understanding of data governance and master data management principles.
- Experience supporting digital transformation and enterprise reporting initiatives.
