Job description

Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise data architectures.
Define data architecture strategy, standards, principles, and governance frameworks.
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Design data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses, and analytical platforms.
Lead cloud data architecture initiatives across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Design batch and real-time data ingestion and processing pipelines.
Define ETL/ELT architecture using tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Informatica, or Apache Spark.
Develop data integration strategies across enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
Establish data governance, data quality, metadata management, lineage, and master data strategies.
Partner with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, BI teams, Application Architects, Security teams, and business stakeholders.
Define data security, privacy, access-control, encryption, and compliance architecture.
Evaluate and recommend data technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns.
Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, standards, and implementation guidelines.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to data engineering and development teams.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect with 10+ years of experience designing enterprise-scale data architecture, data platforms, data models, and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform, data warehousing, data lakes/lakehouses, ETL/ELT, Big Data, SQL, and modern data technologies., * 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data platforms.

Strong expertise in SQL and relational database technologies.
Experience with data modeling, dimensional modeling, and database design.
Strong experience with Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse architectures.
Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms:
AWS
Microsoft Azure
Google Cloud Platform
Strong knowledge of:
Snowflake
Databricks
Apache Spark
Kafka
ETL/ELT
Data APIs
REST services
Experience with data integration technologies such as Informatica, Talend, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, data quality, and MDM.
Experience designing highly available and scalable distributed data systems.
Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud security.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or Matillion.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, or Cosmos DB.
Experience with real-time/streaming data architecture using Kafka or similar technologies.
Knowledge of AI/ML data platforms and Generative AI architectures.
Experience implementing enterprise data mesh or data fabric architectures.
Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Architect are a plus.
