Job description

Join our team as a Sr. Systems Engineer and play a pivotal role in designing and managing cutting-edge hybrid infrastructure solutions. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, driving innovation and collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-premises data centers.
  • Oversee Kubernetes operations to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Lead application modernization efforts, migrating workloads to cloud environments.
  • Optimize hypervisor clusters for enterprise workloads.
  • Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and security analytics solutions.
  • Support security engineering initiatives, including vulnerability management.
  • Automate operational tasks to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile setting to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with AWS services and hybrid infrastructure management.
  • Strong proficiency in Kubernetes management and administration.
  • Expertise in VMware vSphere and hypervisor cluster management.
  • Solid understanding of security compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and FISMA.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and services.
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD and Jira for project management.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator) are a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in VMware or Kubernetes.
  • Background in financial services or federal government environments is advantageous.
