Job description

As an Information Security Analyst, you’ll serve as the primary security compliance agent supporting a Navy client, performing vulnerability and risk assessments of computer systems and applications throughout the system development life cycle to support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorization process. You’ll analyze information assurance-related technical problems, recommend and support solutions that meet network security requirements, and help ensure systems stay compliant and secure across their full lifecycle. This is your opportunity to apply hands-on RMF, STIG, and network security expertise in a mission-critical, on-site role., * Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments of computer systems and applications throughout the system development life cycle to support the RMF authorization process

  • Analyze general information assurance-related technical problems and provide recommendations and technical support in solving them
  • Assess and support the implementation of solutions that meet network security requirements
  • Develop and review RMF packages
  • Conduct network and vulnerability scans, and analyze network scans, vulnerability scans, and traffic logs
  • Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Monitor network traffic and user activity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
  • At least one year of relevant experience performing Navy IA or cybersecurity functions
  • Experience with RMF packages, STIGs, and network security requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
