Job description

The CDC EIP Data Modernization Support program aims to modernize public health data systems to improve infectious disease surveillance, data sharing, and timely response to emerging threats., * Implement scalable data solutions within Palantir Foundry, addressing complex business logic

  • Develop, test, and maintain reusable code using Foundry’s code repositories
  • Create custom functions and transformation logic for large datasets
  • Configure and optimize dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders
  • Participate actively in agile development processes and track work using Jira

Requirements

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust clearance, * 4+ years of experience in a professional environment

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including Code Repository, Ontology Manager, and Workshop
  • Proficiency in Python and PySpark coding
  • Knowledge of fundamental programming principles and web development
  • Experience leading and mentoring technical teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with R, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with version control systems such as GIT
  • Experience working in a public health environment
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience leveraging Palantir AIP for AI workflows and LLM integration
  • Palantir Foundry certifications (e.g., Data Engineer, Developer)

Benefits & conditions

Salary Range: $135,000.00 - $165,000.00 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
