Job description
As a PMO, you will serve as the central point of coordination for all IT projects and support the CIO in planning, managing, and further developing our project portfolio.
In particular, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, managing, and monitoring IT projects
- Capturing, structuring, and prioritizing new project requirements in consultation with the CIO
- Establishing and maintaining a centralized IT project portfolio
- Resource planning in collaboration with IT group leaders and business units
- Monitoring deadlines, milestones, and progress
- Project controlling and early identification of risks and deviations
- Preparing decision-making documents for the CIO and executive management
- Facilitating project meetings, workshops, and status updates
- Coordination of internal and external project managers
- Advising business units on the planning and execution of IT projects
- Ensuring consistent project management standards
- Preparing regular management reports and KPI analyses
- Providing support for organizational and digital transformation projects
- Continuously developing project management within IT
Within the scope of approved IT projects, you will be responsible for technical coordination and will ensure transparency regarding project progress, resources, deadlines, and any risks. Your Profile
Requirements
You have strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and can maintain a clear overview even when managing multiple projects simultaneously., * a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Alternatively, a completed IT apprenticeship with several years of professional experience in project management
- Several years of experience in IT project management or in a Project Management Office (PMO)
- Experience managing complex IT projects
- Excellent organizational skills
- Confident demeanor and strong communication skills
- Analytical and structured thinking
- Knowledge of and experience with traditional and agile project management methods
- Proficiency with Microsoft products and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planner, Jira, or comparable solutions)
- An independent and solution-oriented approach to work
- Certifications such as PRINCE2®, IPMA®, PMI®, Scrum, or equivalent
The following are also desirable:
- Knowledge of the KRITIS or healthcare sector
- Experience in the infrastructure or data center sector
