Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Operations & Master Data Management

• Manage and optimize the infrastructure and data related to advanced metering systems for utility companies.
• Oversee the daily operations of AMI systems, including meters, communication networks, data collection, and storage systems.
• Maintain and update master data such as customer account information, meter IDs, and related metadata.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot data collected from smart meters to ensure accuracy and identify trends.
• Coordinate the deployment and installation of smart meters, ensuring proper functioning.
• Implement and manage security protocols to safeguard metering data against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry regulations related to AMI and data management.
• Generate reports and dashboards for system performance and data insights.
• Collaborate with billing, customer service, and other departments to integrate AMI data into operational workflows.
• Work with vendors to procure equipment, software, and support services for AMI and MDM systems.
• Train staff on system operations, data management best practices, and cybersecurity measures.
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades, process improvements, and cost efficiencies.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in AMI operations, data management, or utility operations.
• Proficiency with AMI technologies, data management tools, and cybersecurity practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting metering data.
• Knowledge of utility industry regulations and data management standards.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
• Experience in project management, especially for large-scale AMI deployments, is a plus.
• Attention to detail to ensure data quality and system reliability.
