Senior Backend Developer

As a Senior Backend Developer, you’ll be a driving force within the development team. You’ll work hands-on on the AI platform and make a significant contribution to its technical quality. You’ll tackle complex backend challenges, build robust and scalable components, and ensure that what you deliver is production-ready.

You’ll work closely with the development team to translate product and business objectives into working software. You actively contribute to technical decisions, but your primary focus is on writing high-quality code and solving technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend components of the AI platform.
• Take on complex technical challenges and translate them into concrete solutions.
• Contribute to the technical architecture and help shape direction and decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to colleagues.
• Apply and help safeguard development standards and best practices.
• Pay attention to performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Share knowledge with the team and contribute to a strong technical culture.

Do you have experience in Back-end development?, * Multiple years of experience as a backend developer, including several in a senior role.

• Strong technical foundation and the ability to oversee complex systems.
• Excellent knowledge of .NET and Azure.
• Experience with modern platform and cloud architectures.
• Affinity with AI- or data-driven products.
• Ability to make and substantiate technical decisions.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of what you deliver.
• Hands-on mentality.
• Full-time on-site in Hasselt.
