Job description
We are looking for experienced Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Developers to join a high-profile public-sector transformation programme.
There are opportunities at both Senior and Lead level, with the level determined by your technical experience, delivery capability and leadership background.
You will work on Dynamics 365 Customer Service solutions, alongside Power Pages, Power Automate and Azure services, delivering robust solutions across a complex enterprise environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and extending Dynamics 365 Customer Service, including model-driven apps, forms, Business Rules, Business Process Flows, security roles and Dataverse.

- Building Power Automate flows for business process automation and integration, including appropriate error handling and retry behaviour.
- Developing Azure Functions to extend Dynamics 365 and integrate with external systems.

- Working with APIs and integration patterns between Dynamics 365, Dataverse and external systems.
- Taking ownership of features from refinement through development, release and defect resolution.
- Working with Azure DevOps, source control and deployment pipelines.
- Applying an “out-of-the-box first” approach and challenging unnecessary customisation.
- Identifying technical risks and debt and contributing to technical solutions and improvements.
- Working closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Solution Architects and wider technical teams.
- Communicating technical concepts and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Lead, mentor and support developers across different experience levels.
- Allocate development work against backlog priorities.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain development standards.
- Support defect triage, root-cause analysis and technical decision making.
- Work closely with the Solution Architect to translate designs into buildable solutions.
- Take ownership of technical quality, consistency and delivery across the development team.
Requirements
Essential:
- Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service.

- Experience with Dynamics 365 / Dataverse integrations and APIs.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps and source control.
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.

For Lead-level positions, we are particularly interested in candidates with:
- Previous experience leading or mentoring Dynamics 365 development teams.
