Job description

Job Summary We are seeking an AWS Connect Developer/Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS cloud technologies. This role is responsible for implementing scalable contact center architectures, developing backend services, integrating third-party platforms, and delivering cloud-native solutions that enhance customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Amazon Connect, Java or Node.js, RESTful APIs, AWS services, and microservices architecture within Agile development environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise contact center solutions using Amazon Connect. Configure and manage Amazon Connect contact flows, queues, routing rules, agents, schedules, user management, and operational workflows. Design, implement, and maintain Amazon Connect features, integrations, and functionality. Develop backend services and microservices using Java or Node.js. Build and integrate RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and third-party platform integrations. Support AI-powered voice and chat capabilities, including Amazon Lex chatbot integrations. Develop reusable microservices, prototypes, and cloud-native application components. Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. Document architecture decisions and present technical solutions to development teams and stakeholders. Perform code reviews, design reviews, and ensure adherence to software engineering best practices. Design and implement automated functional, integration, and system testing. Promote DevOps practices by automating build, testing, deployment, and scaling processes. Contribute to service-oriented architecture (SOA) standards and perform impact analysis for new solutions. Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to resolve complex engineering challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or Solutions Architect. Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect, including contact flows, queues, routing rules, agents, schedules, user management, routing profiles, Contact Control Panel (CCP), client streams, and Amazon Lex chatbots. Experience integrating Amazon Connect with third-party applications and enterprise platforms using RESTful APIs and web services. Strong programming experience with Java or Node.js. 3+ years of experience designing application architecture for enterprise-scale solutions. Experience developing high-scale web applications and microservices-based architectures. Experience implementing SOAP and REST APIs using enterprise API management tools. Experience working with NoSQL databases such as Amazon DynamoDB. Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum software development environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Python and Node.js development. Experience with AWS services including Lambda, SQS, EC2, ECS, and Terraform. Experience with Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift. Knowledge of Cyara Designer for contact center testing and automation. Experience with Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience designing highly available, scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications. Education: Bachelors Degree
