Job description

Design and manage IBM LinuxONE infrastructure. Administer Enterprise Linux (RHEL/SUSE/Ubuntu) environments. Plan and execute Linux and application migrations to IBM LinuxONE. Implement virtualization and container technologies. Automate infrastructure using DevOps and scripting tools. Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced IBM LinuxONE Architect with a strong background in Linux administration and infrastructure engineering. The candidate will design, implement, and manage enterprise Linux environments on IBM LinuxONE, ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and performance., Strong experience with IBM LinuxONE and IBM zSystems. Hands-on experience with Enterprise Linux (RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu). Experience in Linux migration and infrastructure modernization. Knowledge of virtualization, containers (Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Git, and Shell/Python scripting. Good understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and security.
