Job description

Join our innovative team as a Jr. Embedded Software Engineer, where you’ll engage in exciting projects involving hardware and software integration and testing of real-time embedded systems. This role offers a dynamic environment for tech enthusiasts eager to make a significant impact. Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on integration and testing of complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems in both software labs and tactical military hardware.
  • Create and execute software analysis, design, development, and testing tasks to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Participate in software requirements, design, and code reviews to enhance project efficiency.
  • Develop and implement test cases, scripts, and plans for software releases in various environments.
  • Perform fault isolation and diagnosis to troubleshoot and repair test and tactical systems.
  • Analyze design specifications and test results to ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of software development and systems engineering practices.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and real-time embedded systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with protocols such as J1939, CAN, Ethernet, and Serial.
  • Experience using software development environments and version control tools.
  • Knowledge of basic circuitry and electrical engineering principles.
