Job description
The IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer is a critical member of the Corporate IT team, responsible for solutions engineering and operations of iRhythm’s infrastructure and systems. Utilizing skills and experience, this person will work with peers on the Corporate IT team to design, test, build and promote to production our IT systems, including network, storage, compute, communication and collaboration services across our on-premise, co-location data centers, and cloud-based environments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Responsible for the design, build and support of corporate networks, servers, storage, telephony and systems
- Implement observable, secure and fault-tolerant solutions
- Provide technical leadership, support and direction across multiple teams and domains
- Serve as an internal escalation point for day to day operations
- Plan and execute projects across the infrastructure landscape
- Lead and participate in infrastructure and systems and application projects
- Device lifecycle support - Vulnerabilitiy remediation, firmware upgrades, decommission, Document
- Mentor less senior staff
- Vendor management and interaction for hardware, software, and service troubleshooting and resolution
- Help define and execute the strategy for infrastructure and systems across the enterprise
- Support global operations for remote, manufacturing and iRhythm Office based workforces
Requirements

- Ability to work with a project oriented approach for deliverables.
- Work schedule flexibility required as some work must be completed after business hours.
- Experience interfacing with and managing vendors and managed service providers.
- Experience operating in a 24x7 international company (US & EMEA)
- Excellent interaction and communication skills; ability to communicate (both written and verbal) clearly and concisely.
- Previous experience in healthcare, life-science, pharma or bio company a plus.
- Experience working in a SOX regulated company a must.
Technical:
-
8 years of hands engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers and storage systems
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper Equipment and software
- Strong experience deploying and administering firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure (Physical and Virtual).
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory.
- Strong experience with cloud compute and storage (AWS and Azure) with cloud first approach.
- Previous experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Experience with patch deployment required.
- Experience with network and systems monitoring a plus.
- Experience with ITIL a plus.
- Experience with Linux a plus.
Education and Certifications
- Minimum AA degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience
- Cisco Certification a plus
- AWS/Azure Certifications a plus
- Networking certifications preferred

Actual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
Estimated Pay Range $99,000.00 - $129,000.00
