Job description

In this important role, you will work closely with other IT staff and will be responsible for supporting the work of NPH by providing:

  • PC, Mac, and systems support
  • Systems security
  • Network administration
  • Business information, This position has no supervisory responsibilities. However, the IT Specialist will work to develop the skills of those they interact with.

An ability and appreciation for working collaboratively and thriving on multitasking in a fast-paced environment are also success factors., An IT or business systems related degree or degree in progress along with the following experience is preferred:

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP or other SaaS ERP systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
  • Experience with data exports, manipulation, and imports
  • Experience with Visual Basic for Applications
  • Experience with Crystal Reports

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Strong written and verbal communications skills are required to be successful in this position.

ANALYSIS/REASONING ABILITY

Ensuring accuracy in data and findings, applying solid analytical skills, drawing sound and actionable conclusions, and effectively communicating those conclusions are critical to success in this position., While performing the duties of this job, the staff member is regularly required to sit. This individual is frequently required to talk and hear. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 90% of the work period while operating equipment such as phones, computers, computer keyboard, mouse and similar office machines. The staff member is occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The staff member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
